Gaza residents, desperate after three weeks of siege, raided United Nations warehouses on Saturday in what the U.N. Palestinian refugee agency is calling a breakdown of civilization.
The agency says thousands of people pushed into multiple warehouses and distribution centers to snatch flour and basic survival items. An Israeli official says that there will be a significant increase in aid this week.
Civilians have been urged to go to a humanitarian zone at the south end of the territory.
