Border Patrol announced Tuesday that it is “temporarily” shutting down operations at a port of entry near El Paso due to an influx of migrants.

The agency says it is moving port of entry personnel to the border to help process the immigrants. But the agency didn’t announce when, exactly, it would resume operations at the Bridge of the Americas (BOTA) port of entry. Border Patrol shared only that the goal is to go back to normal as “quickly as feasible.”

Meanwhile, in Chicago, residents are also asking for border closures amid the migrant crisis.
