Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) drew her “line in the sand” during a Town Hall meeting Thursday night by demanding an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden be connected to future government spending agreements.

This comes as a Sept. 30 deadline is on the horizon for Congress to agree on government spending or face a government shutdown. The White House responded, labeling Greene as “extreme.”

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump threw his support behind launching an impeachment inquiry against Biden, saying the sitting president has had “more aliases than Al Capone.”

This comes as the White House on Thursday asked Congress to pass a short-term measure to fund the federal government and avoid the potential of September shutdown.
