Former President Donald Trump continues to make history.
He will now be the first president to have a televised trial, after a judge in Georgia announced that a live stream of the proceedings will be available through the court’s YouTube channel.
The announcement came after Trump pleaded not guilty and waived his right to arraignment on 13 charges related to accusations that he attempted to overturn the 2020 election. And yet Trump continues to dominate the GOP field of presidential contenders.
In an interview with Just the Noise last night, the former president said the timing of these indictments is obvious election interference.
Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp said Thursday that there will be no special session to impeach Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who is bringing these charges against Trump.
