The latest question House Republicans are asking is “who is Robert L. Peters?”
A bombshell report from the House Oversight Committee says that’s a name that then-Vice President Joe Biden may have used to hide his business dealings with his son, Hunter.
The committee made the discovery on Hunter’s laptop. Biden’s aide sent the VP’s schedule to a government email for Robert Peters while copying Hunter. Notably, the schedule included plans for a phone call with the Ukrainian president.
Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) stated, “Joe Biden has stated there was ‘an absolute wall’ between his family’s foreign business schemes and his duties as Vice President, but evidence reveals that access was wide open for his family’s influence peddling.”
Republicans also allege Biden might have used the pseudonyms ‘Robin Ware’ and ‘JRB Ware’.
Comer is now requesting the National Archives hand over unredacted records involving these names and linked government emails.
