Former President Donald Trump is facing a slew of new charges in what is now his fourth indictment.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has filed 13 felony charges in Georgia and alleged Trump tried to overthrow the 2020 election.

A grand jury indicted 18 others alongside the former president Tuesday. All are accused of violating Georgia’s racketeering law, according to the indictment outlined by Willis.

If convicted, not even a presidential pardon can save Trump, as presidential pardons are limited to federal crimes, not state ones.

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, who already is not counted among Trump’s closest allies, can’t help either. In Georgia, pardons can only be granted by the state’s Board of Pardons and Paroles and can only be requested after five years in jail.
