Texas is seeing major victories over human traffickers through its border security mission, “Operation Lone Star.”
Department of Public Safety Lt. Chris Olivarez announced in an X (formerly Twitter) post that the operation has rescued over 900 children who were being smuggled across the border.
Some of these children were as young as five years old. Last year, Olivarez told Fox News that the cartels make most of their money off of human smuggling.
According to government data shared by Just The News, since Operation Lone Star started over two years ago, Texas has encountered over 400,000 illegal immigrants and made over 32,000 criminal arrests.
