As his legal troubles mount, former President Donald Trump is calling on his primary opponents to drop out of the race.
On Saturday, while speaking to a crowd in Erie, Pennsylvania, Trump repeatedly mocked Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has already spent millions on his campaign.
Trump’s rally came days after special counsel Jack Smith added new charges to his classified documents case against the former president.
Trump could soon face charges relating to January 6th and alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia. And that’s all on top of charges brought by the Manhattan DA over hush money payments.
But despite the ongoing legal battles, Trump’s polling remains rock solid. He currently holds a massive, 35-point lead over 2nd place DeSantis in the Real Clear Politics polling average.
