President Joe Biden’s chief rival for the Democratic presidential nomination is now calling for a true investigation into bribery allegations.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said on Sunday that he usually avoids criticizing the sitting president, but he made an abrupt shift in that policy after reading the unclassified FBI memo recently published by Republicans.
In the document, a confidential FBI source alleges that then Vice President Biden and his son each received a $5 million bribe. The corrupt Ukrainian gas company Burisma allegedly paid the Bidens to gain protection from legal troubles.
RFK Jr. also agreed that the Justice Department has been weaponized.
A recent Harvard-Harris poll placed Kennedy with a 47% favorability rating, higher than Biden’s 39%.
Kennedy’s comments come as the New York Post reports that Hunter’s former friend, Devon Archer, is set to testify before Congress.
Archer says that Hunter put Joe Biden on speaker phone more than at least two dozen times during his overseas business deals. He could testify as early as this week.
