It looks like liberal, soft-on-crime policies in America’s biggest cities are having disastrous effects.

A new Wirepoints analysis shows that 19 out of the 20 cities with the highest murder rate were run by a Democratic mayor. Only 2 of the 30 most dangerous cities were run by Republicans.

The report summarized that high violence rates can be traced back to “decriminalization efforts by officials.” Wirepoints president Ted Dabrowski says “Democrats have run nearly all the homicide hotspots. It’s their policies, then, that deserve the most scrutiny.”

This comes a year after the world was shocked to see a New York bodega owner criminally charged after defending himself against a violent thief. New York Rep. Nicole Malliotakis says it’s these soft -on-crime policies that encourage crime and hurt everyday Americans.
