Kansas is now the latest state to push back against transgender ideology, as it just ruled that people are not allowed to change the sex listed on their driver’s license.

The ruling came after the state saw a new “women’s bill of rights” go into effect on Saturday, which Attorney General Kris Kobach is seeking to uphold.

The new Kansas law defines a person’s sex as biologically determined at birth, and applies that definition to any state law or regulation.

District Judge Teresa Watson sided with the attorney general, saying that these changes to driver’s licenses would cause “immediate and irreparable injury.” For example, a changed driver’s license could disrupt a criminal investigation, or a search for a missing person.

Meanwhile, the governor’s office said it was working on a response to the order.
