Unfortunately, this year’s 4th of July celebrations were marred by three mass shootings, leaving 10 dead and 38 injured.

While we’ve already reported on the shooting that happened at a Baltimore block party late Sunday night, additional shootings followed in Philadelphia and in Fort Worth, Texas.

On Monday evening in Philadelphia, the perpetrator took five lives and wounded two. The incident in Fort Worth, which took place at a festival, resulted in the deaths of three people and wounding of eight. Motives in all three shootings remain unknown.

In response to the mass shootings, President Joe Biden called for “meaningful, common-sense reforms” from Republican lawmakers, as Democrat leaders have been asking for stricter gun control laws.
