Wreckage from the Titan submersible was towed to land on Wednesday. Footage from the event marks the first video evidence of the destroyed submarine.

Workers unloaded metal components and pieces from the Horizon arctic ship in St John’s, Canada. U.S. Coast Guard officials confirmed that the landing frame and the rear cover of the submersible were found in the wreckage.

While the submersible was built mostly from carbon fiber, many of the pieces were constructed from titanium. The recovered debris included the porthole, the titanium end cap, a titanium ring, and the landing frame, as well as the end equipment bay. The pieces were reportedly found near the hull of the Titanic.

It was recently announced that medical professionals will examine what is presumed to be human remains reportedly found near the wreckage.

The Coast Guard announced it will be investigating the incident to determine the cause of the implosion. Five men, including OceanGate founder Stockton Rush, died in the incident.
