Friday, the House of Representatives voted along party lines to move forward with the impeachment of President Joe Biden.

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) introduced the resolution, saying Biden has neglected his presidential duties by welcoming an “invasion at the southern border.”

President Biden has released more than 2 million illegal immigrants into the US., but the number of total border crossings during his presidency has been almost quadruple that.

The Center Square reports that there have been more than 8 million illegal border crossings since 2021. That’s more than the individual populations of 38 US states.

The resolution to impeach Biden will now be sent to the Judiciary and Homeland Security Committees.
