Tuesday, two new candidates threw their hats into the ring and declared their desire to be Republicans’ 2024 presidential nominee.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie launched his campaign during a town hall event Tuesday night in New Hampshire – making clear his intentions to take down Donald Trump.

Wednesday, Christie appeared on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” where he said the only way to the White House is through the former president.

Meanwhile, Former Vice President Mike Pence released his official announcement video. And while he didn’t mention Trump by name, Pence did take a swipe at his old boss, saying it’s time for new leadership.

Both Pence and Christie are launching their campaigns with little-to-no support. The latest data from Morning Consult shows Pence with 7% and Christie only 1% of the Republican vote.
