The state of Indiana is leading a lawsuit against Biden’s latest open-border policy.

Attorney General Todd Rokita is challenging the new immigration policy known as “Circumvention of Lawful Pathways.” The Department of Homeland Security says this policy is meant to expand safe pathways for migrants to enter the U.S.

But the lawsuit says this is a smokescreen. Specifically, migrants are now encouraged to make false asylum claims through an app. Rokita says, “In a truly Orwellian twist, the federal government has depicted this latest measure as a tool for reducing illegal immigration. But this new rule would make it even easier to illegally immigrate into the United States.”

The app has released nearly 80,000 foreign nationals since the beginning of this year. Seventeen other states have joined the lawsuit.
