The Daily Caller reports that North Korea will serve on the World Health Organization’s (W.H.O) executive board until 2026.

Dr. Jong Min Pak of the North Korean Ministry of Public Health will serve alongside other newly elected countries such as Australia and Switzerland. This means North Korea will now have a say in the organization’s agenda and policies.

Meanwhile South Korea denounced the W.H.O’s decision, saying North Korea regularly ignores W.H.O. guidelines and rules from the United Nations.

Back in the U.S. Republican Representative Chip Roy reacted to the move saying the W.H.O should be defunded.
