President Joe Biden is continuing to promote transgender treatments for kids – condemning states with bans for surgeries and cross sex hormones.

He said: “Transgender youth in over a dozen States have had their medically necessary health care banned.” According to the president, this creates a slippery slope of violence aimed at the LGTBQ population.

Sixteen states have enacted laws that restrict body-altering treatments for kids with gender dysphoria. Another dozen are considering similar laws.

The White House has previously said they don’t believe states have a right to impose these kinds of bans. But Republicans argue children aren’t capable of making these life altering decisions.

And earlier this year, Finland’s leading expert on pediatric gender medicine said that four out of five children resolve their gender dysphoria without medical intervention.
