Congress members are demanding to know how the FBI is countering the threat of secret Chinese police stations. Chinese operatives use these stations to harass political opponents after they flee China.

FBI Director Chris Wray previously briefed the House China committee cone month ago about illegal outposts within the U.S. But lawmakers said the briefing mainly covered things already known to the public.

Representative Mike Gallagher and eleven others now demand better answers to their questions.

They want to know when the FBI first became aware of the illegal stations and what steps Wray is taking to protect American citizens. The congressmen want a response by the end of next month.

Just eleven days ago, the FBI arrested two Chinese Americans for operating a secret outpost. But those are only 2 arrests out of at least 44 similar criminal complaints filed by the DOJ.
