he House subcommittee on the weaponization of the federal government might see major breakthroughs in the coming hours.

An ex-CIA director will testify today as to why he and 50 others claimed the Hunter Biden laptop story was the product of Russian misinformation.

Rep. Jim Jordan leads the subcommittee, and called on former CIA Deputy Director Michael Morell a year ago when Democrats still controlled the House.

At that time he requested Morell to provide a voluntary statement as to why he and his peers declared the Biden laptop story as untrustworthy.

Jordan said the statement at best was a “reckless attempt” to erroneously conclude about perceived election interference.

But he says at worst, the statement was a “deliberate effort” to mislead the American people about the 2020 election. Morell will testify before the subcommittee today.
