In the Democratic Party, another potential challenger to Joe Biden has arisen, as Robert Kennedy Jr. has announced his run for the 2024 presidential election.

Kennedy is a controversial figure even within his own party. Son of the assassinated Senator Robert Kennedy and nephew of slain president John F. Kennedy.

The younger Kennedy has made a name for himself as an outspoken critic of vaccines. His stance on the vaccine issue has gotten him banned on certain social media platforms.

The 69-year-old challenger is the now the second in the Democratic Party for the 2024 bid, along with Marianne Williamson.
