You may have noticed the shelves at the local store are getting a bit bare and the food that’s still there is not as cheap as it once was. It’s due to a lot of reasons including supply chain snags and the war in Ukraine to name a few, but sadly it might even get worse with an upcoming fertilizer shortage right as we’re entering the spring planting season. To discuss this shortage and the various problems facing farmers we spoke with Craig Haugard, from the daily AG report on Financial Issues.
