This coming Friday marks one of the largest annual pro-life gatherings in the United States, as thousands of pro-life advocates will gather in Washington, D.C. to take partake in the 2022 March for Life. This year’s theme is timely, as the nation is witnessing the unfolding of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in the Supreme Court, a case that could greatly drive back the effects of the Roe v. Wade. The theme of March for Life 2022 is “Equality Begins in the Womb.”

Several pro-life celebrities will speak at the event, including actor Kirk Cameron, who has starred in several movies including “Left Behind” and “Fireproof,” as well as “Duck Dynasty” actress Lisa Robertson. Roman Catholic chaplain and host of “The Bible in a Year” podcast Father Mike Schmitz is another speaker.

Additionally, Christian recording artist Matthew West will host a live concert before the event.

Jeanne Mancini, president of the March for Life Education and Defense Fund, said earlier this week,

We are delighted to welcome these incredible speakers to the March for Life. Americans everywhere know that unborn children deserve equal rights and protection under the law. We expect this year’s March for Life to be historic with even higher levels of enthusiasm from participants. We are hopeful that, with Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization before the Supreme Court, 2022 will bring us much closer to building the culture of life we have all marched for since Roe v. Wade was tragically imposed on our nation nearly 50 years ago.
