You’ve probably heard that Facebook recently changed its name, of the company not the social media platform, to Meta. And with this change, they’re cluing us in on their intentions of moving beyond just social media, by taking the already existent technology of virtual reality, or VR, and expanding it into extended reality, XR. In other words: the metaverse.
