On Monday, thousands of demonstrators were bashed by their representative governor, Democrat Tom Wolf, when they gathered in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Those gathered, however, were not causing a disruption or promoting any violence, rather they were pro-life defenders who came to march on the state capital in a demonstration for the defense of unborn babies.
Wolf sent a tweet on Monday, vowing to block pro-life bills and calling the rally “anti-women,” despite the fact that the majority of the attendees were, in fact, female.
In the tweet, Wolf used the term “life-saving care,” a woeful misrepresentation of abortion. Abortion is the opposite of life-saving for unborn children, and it is oftentimes devastating for the women who receive it, both physically and psychologically.
One of the most outspoken pro-life advocates delivered a witty and tactful rebuttal to the governor. Abby Johnson, one of the speakers at the march, was a former executive at Planned Parenthood. After undergoing an abortion and severe trauma from it, she became a fierce defender of unborn babies. Her story is told in the 2019 movie Unplanned. She responded to Wolf on Twitter:
“Anti-woman rally” where the majority of attendee and speakers were women. Lol. You are a joke.

Another one of the speakers, Michael Greer of the Pennsylvania Family Institute, painted a harrowing picture of abortion during his speech at the rally. Standing in front of the P.A. capital building, he said,
Some in that building behind you, including our governor … have chosen to ignore the silent scream of the innocents, the more than 2 million preborn babies who have lost their lives to abortion here in Pennsylvania alone since the Roe v. Wade decision.
The P.A. March for Life rally was the first of its kind, with several thousand pro-life defenders in attendance.
