Anheuser-Busch is still feeling the sting of its Bud Light controversy earlier this year in the U.S.

The world’s largest brewer says its overall third-quarter revenue increased 5% to $15.57 billion. That number would have been higher except they still reported a 13.5% decline in the U.S. The company says that the loss is mainly due to a “volume decline of Bud Light.”

Earlier this year, Bud Light selected transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney as a spokesperson. The backlash was so severe that the brand lost its title as the “top beer seller” in the U.S.

Since then, the company has tried to win back its former conservative users. Just last week, the brand announced that it was returning as the beer of fighting champions; Bud Light signed a six-year deal with the UFC.

Angry fans responded by calling UFC CEO and President Dana White a sellout. Some reportedly canceled Fight Club passes.
