Another former lawyer for Donald Trump pleaded guilty in the Georgia RICO case on election interference.
Jenna Ellis is the third member of Trump’s legal team to reach a plea deal since Thursday, following Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro. Ellis pleaded guilty to aiding and abetting false statements and writings.
She also said she would be willing to testify against Trump if called upon. Of the 19 individuals in the sweeping racketeering indictment, four have now agreed to testify against Trump.
Ellis says she failed to do her “due diligence” in vetting claims about voter fraud from other Trump attorneys.
The plea agreement calls for five years of probation and $5,000 in restitution.
