Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis continues to show that he doesn’t have to wait for President Joe Biden to act on helping Israel.
In a post on X, DeSantis displayed a graphic that showed some of what his government was able to accomplish for the people of Israel. Part of this initiative seems to include supplies given to Israel during its war with Hamas.
Two cargo planes with 85 pallets of donated supplies were sent to the nation, according to the Florida governor. Jeremy Redfern, a spokesman for the governor’s office, listed healthcare supplies, drones, body armor, and weapons as some items sent in the cargo planes.
This follows Florida’s approval of rescue flights to evacuate Americans trapped in Israel. The graphic said four of these flights were completed with 700 Americans flown back to Florida.
