Amid a shocking rise in anti-Semitism on college campuses, the Biden administration is now taking action to protect Jewish students, a move signaled by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre yesterday.

Per NBC News, the White House is directing the Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights to update its complaint forms to specifically address anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim incidents.

The Departments of Homeland Security and Justice are partnering with campus law enforcement to address anti-Semitic threats and give federal resources to schools. In addition, Education Secretary Miguel Cardona is holding meetings with Jewish groups this week to come up with solutions.

The new policies follow a near 400% increase in anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. since the Hamas terror attacks in Israel, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

Over the weekend, shocking remarks were posted to the Cornell University discussion board, as someone threatened to kill and sexually assault Jewish students. The FBI is working with Cornell’s police to investigate the threat, which has been condemned by the White House.
