Armenians are fleeing the Nagorno-Karabakh region, fearing persecution and ethnic cleansing.

More than 200 people were killed and 400 wounded in Azerbaijan’s latest military operation against the Christian nation, and 120,000 people in the region fled over the weekend.

Armenians were forced into a ceasefire last week, effectively surrendering the area to the Islamic nation. But they are not accepting Azerbaijan’s promise to guarantee their rights.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is now calling for protective measures for Armenian rights, not just humanitarian aid.

Meanwhile, Turkey announced full support of the attack on Nagorno-Karabakh. The Turkish and Azerbaijani presidents are now in talks to create a land corridor between their two countries via Armenia, which opposes the idea.
