The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) launched an updated LGBT+ development policy Wednesday.

USAID reinforced their original 2014 government-led commitment to the global LGBT community by “championing inclusive development and human rights of LGBT+ people.”

The organization’s goals also include the support of “reproductive rights,” which is often a euphemism for abortion.

The government agency’s announcement comes a day after Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) introduced a bill to defund the organization, citing concerns that the agency uses taxpayer dollars to promote “woke” agendas abroad.
