The Biden administration is sanctioning three businesses that are accused of trying to send weapons from North Korea to Russia.
The Treasury Department says all three businesses are linked to a Slovakian national named Ashot Mkrtychev, who was sanctioned back in March for similar actions.

Treasury senior official Brian Nelson says the U.S. “remains committed to exposing and disrupting the arms trade underpinning Putin’s brutal war in Ukraine.”
