Despite new details emerging about President Joe Biden’s alleged role in Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings,  American voters aren’t too sure impeachment is the best option.

A new Rasmussen poll suggests voters are now less likely to support impeachment proceedings than they were three months ago. That poll shows only 38% of likely voters think Congress should impeach Biden – down from 42% in May. Forty-seven percent of respondents said they outright oppose impeachment.

This comes as Hunter Biden’s business partner, Devon Archer, testified before the House Oversight Committee on Thursday. He alleged Hunter put his father on speakerphone roughly 20 times during foreign business meetings. For years, Biden denied ever speaking to Hunter about his business dealings.

Despite the lack of support, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) says the GOP is prepared to move forward with an impeachment inquiry.
