Democratic Presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr is suing YouTube and Google over censorship.
The lawsuit calls out the Biden administration’s increased pressure to censor people online, an issue RFK Jr. has been vocal about since the beginning of his campaign.
YouTube removed several videos of RFK Jr. criticizing the COVID-19 vaccine, citing “COVID vaccine misinformation policies.” Kennedy says these policies were made under the direction of federal officials in “an environment of political coercion.” He says this blatantly violates the First Amendment.
This comes only a few weeks after RFK Jr. testified before the House Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, where he labeled these censorship policies as unconstitutional.
