Sen. Rand Paul 9R-Ky.) is continuing his relentless campaign to prove that former NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci did, in fact, lie to Congress.

This time, however, Paul told “Fox & Friends” that he was pursuing a criminal referral against the doctor for perjury.

Paul referenced a newly unredacted 2020 email written by Fauci about a taskforce call on Sars-CoV-2. In this email, Fauci supposedly admitted that he was suspicious of a lab leak being the origin of the virus because of the known gain-of-function experiments at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
