Republicans are calling out the latest double standard after President Joe Biden appears to have hidden free vacations from his financial disclosures.
Democrats have slammed conservative Justice Clarence Thomas for not reporting free trips. Thomas has claimed were the result of personal hospitality, but he has been vilified as unethical.
However, Biden also failed to disclose at least three free vacations this past year.
Two of these involved a stay at a Martha’s Vineyard compound owned by a wealthy businessman. The other was a weeklong stay at what is usually a Virgin Islands rental house owned by billionaire Democrat donors Bill and Connie Neville. The homeowners were not present at these stays.
Meanwhile, the Nevilles attended Biden’s first state dinner weeks ahead of the visit.
House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) called out the double standard, saying Biden “is not being honest with the American people.”
