Wednesday, Israeli President Isaac Herzog addressed a joint session of Congress, where he primarily reaffirmed the alliance and friendship between Israel and the United States.
But it wasn’t all nice words, as Herzog also criticized the antisemitic remarks recently made by some Democratic lawmakers.
This comes as, on Tuesday, the House overwhelmingly approved a symbolic resolution backing Israel and condemning antisemitism. The bill explicitly says, “Israel is not a racist or apartheid state.” Still, nine Democrats opposed the bill.
