Republican Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa published the long-discussed FBI memo Thursday,  one in which a confidential FBI source claims President Joe Biden was part of a bribery scheme while serving as vice president.

The FBI informant claims in the June 30, 2020, tip report that Burisma Holdings officials confessed to hiring Hunter Biden back in 2014 for protection. He provided this protection “through his dad, from all kinds of problems.” Notably, Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was investigating Burisma.

But, according to the tipster, then- Vice President Biden declared the prosecutor corrupt. He threatened to withhold $1 billion of loan guarantees from Ukraine unless Shokin was ousted from office. The Burisma CEO also told the informant that he was made to dole out two different $5 million payments, each going to a different Biden.

Grassley and House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) have been after the Form-1023 for nearly a year now but the Justice Department and FBI have thwarted those efforts. But now brave whistleblowers gave Grassley an unredacted copy of the June 30, 2020 tip report.

Grassley says it’s up to the FBI to explain what they did to investigate the allegations and why they’ve withheld the memo from the public.
