The House passed a dozen Republican-led amendments to the National Defense Authorization Act, pushing back against liberal policies being infused into the military.

This includes rolling back a Biden policy that funds Department of Defense abortions. Congressman Ronny Jackson (R-Texas) says it’s an illegal policy and must be stopped.

One amendment bans the use of Defense funds for gender transitioning, while another would eliminate all diversity, equity, and inclusion offices.

The top three House Democrats accused Republicans of hijacking “the historically bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act.”

Ultimately, the amendments’ fates are still undecided, with nearly 100 congressmen saying they will be voting no to the defense act. That vote will be held later today.
