Presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis may be in trouble ,according to new campaign financial reports.
It seems the Florida governor may be lacking grassroots support, as less than 15% of contributions for the second quarter came in amounts less than $200.
The DeSantis campaign employs 90 people, which is more than double the employees of Trump’s campaign. This means that the Florida governor has already burned through $8 million of the $20 million dollars in donations he started out with.
Elsewhere, it looks like President Joe Biden is running a bare-bones operation. His campaign is off to a slow start with only 4 employees and has only spent a little over $1 million to date.
Meanwhile, over 85% of Turning Point Action Conference attendees said that Trump is their first pick for president. DeSantis placed third with only 4.3% of the vote.
