New data reveals that nearly 25,000 babies were saved as a result of the overturning of Roe v. Wade last year.
The Society of Family Planning released the encouraging numbers just a week before the one year anniversary of the monumental life-saving decision. This victory is all the more powerful seeing as abortions had been steadily increasing per year since 2017.
But the report also revealed how important the fight for life is on the state level. States with bans or restrictions saw the number of abortions cut in half in the last year.
The work is far from done, though, as states where abortion remains legal saw the number rise significantly.
A recent Gallup poll shows that the pro-life movement is gaining ground in the hearts and minds of Americans as well, as those who identify as pro-life rose 5 points to 44% in the last year.
