A major Senate Republican says impeachment might be on the table over President Joe Biden’s alleged connection to his son’s business dealings.

Last week, House Republicans revealed a WhatsApp message from Hunter Biden to Chinese Businessman Henry Zhao. In the text, Hunter alleges both he and his father are expecting a call from Zhao. Hunter even threatens Zhoa with retaliation from his father if he fails to meet his demands.

On a recent episode of his podcast, “Verdict,” Texas Sen. Ted Cruz said the text is grounds for impeachment.

The message was uncovered by an IRS whistleblower, who claims the agency’s investigation into Hunter Biden was throttled by the Department of Justice. Cruz says Attorney General Merrick Garland could be guilty of obstructing justice.

Meanwhile, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said she is looking to force the House to vote on articles of impeachment against Biden that she will submit.
