Protesters rallied outside President Joe Biden’s D.C. church Wednesday to protest a scheduled “Pride Mass.”

Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Georgetown released a statement that said “Our celebration of Pride is not celebrating personal vanity, but the human dignity” of marginalized groups.”

This comes as a number of Catholic institutions are moving away from traditional church teachings on sexuality. This week, FISM reported that some hospitals in America’s largest Catholic nonprofit medical system are providing transgender surgeries.
