A clip from Friday’s New York City drag march went viral over the weekend thanks to the eerie cry around which demonstrators rallied.

Video shows marchers chanting  “We’re coming for your children.” The chant was condemned by conservatives online.

It was also evocative of a controversial song performed by the San Francisco Gay Men’s Choir back in 2021. The choir says the song was meant as satire.

But that wasn’t the only controversial pride event from the weekend. In Seattle, naked cyclists rode in a city pride parade, where children were in attendance. Likewise, several naked adults took part in Toronto’s pride parade, which also saw the participation of small children and prominent Canadian officials.
