Over the weekend, all the top GOP candidates gathered in Washington, D.C., for the Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference, where the contenders highlighted their pro-life, pro-family stances for the evangelical audience. But it was former president Donald Trump who stole the spotlight.
Other presidential hopefuls like entrepreneur and CEO Vivek Ramaswamy, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, and former Vce President Mike Pence shared the stage and Trump’s fiercest competitor, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, also rallied the crowd.
Faith and Freedom Coalition Founder Reed Ralph noted “there’s no path to the Republican nomination for president that doesn’t go through the evangelical community.” And while he has no plans to endorse any candidate, Ralph admits that he’s seeing strong support for Trump from conservative evangelicals.
