Six well-known brands are funding a chatroom that functions as an underground grooming website targeting vulnerable minors.
The Trevor Project markets itself as a nonprofit effort to protect gender dysphoric youth from suicide. It’s funded by giants like Disney, Bank of America, NASCAR, Chipotle, Kohl’s, and GM. Google is also on record as having donated more than $1 million in a single year.
But one New York mom, known only as Rachel, warns The Trevor Project a rabbit hole of depravity that leads youth into greater danger. She told the New York Post that the website gives adults unrestricted access to its youth users.
These adults frequently advise youth on how to transition, often without their parents’ knowledge. This includes how to find and take experimental drugs.
But the chats also allow children to join sexually explicit discussions like pornography.
Trevor Project is also known for lobbying in Republican-led states and infiltrating classrooms. Other well-known funders of the website include Coca-Cola, American Express, and Macy’s.
