As migrants continue to pour into the city, New York City Mayor Eric Adams now wants the federal government to disperse them throughout the country.

The Democratic mayor has said the Biden Administration isn’t doing enough to protect U.S. citizens. That leaves the sanctuary city shouldering a hefty burden. Adams says the projection is now up to $4.3 billion.

He now proposes that the Federal Government redirect migrants to other areas of the country to solve his city’s problems.

The Mayor once criticized Texas Governor Greg Abbott for sending migrants into the city. But Adams has changed his attitude now that they reportedly receive up to 900 migrants a day.

He now says it’s a national problem that shouldn’t destroy any one city in America. In fact, he’s recently bussed migrants into other parts of the state over the past two weeks.

Two different counties have since sued to stop this move.
