A Christian math teacher in England was recently banned from his job for allegedly “misgendering” a student in his class. The Oxford teacher also got into trouble for expressing his Christian views on marriage and homosexuality.
The Teaching Regulation Agency’s decision to ban teacher Joshua Sutcliffe was “a first of its kind” ruling in the country.
Meanwhile, the chief executive of the Christian Legal Center said in a press release that the UK’s ruling “sends a clear message that Christian teachers can no longer express their beliefs in the teaching profession.”
