A simple prayer from a college senior led to a huge act of faith and a football stadium filled with worship.

University of Oklahoma student Joshua Robinson only wanted to know what was next for his life after graduation. But as he prayed during the summer of 2022, he felt called to a surprising task.

60,000 people showed up on Saturday for a concert featuring Kari Jobe, Chandler Moore and Chance the Rapper. The hip hop star announced he was a Christian back in December. His appearance helped draw in a crowd that wouldn’t traditionally go to a church service.

But even more inspiring is the quick timeline of this event. Robinson enlisted the help of fellow senior Nathan Wong to pray and plan for the event. But they didn’t have the university approval until February 8, a date that is also notable for kickstarting the Asbury Revival.

Tickets went on sale only one week before the concert.
