Former U.S. President Donald Trump is suing his ex-lawyer Michael Cohen for more than $500 million, according to a filing in a Florida court on Wednesday.
Cohen testified before a Manhattan grand jury that later indicted Trump on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records.
As FISM reported last month, a newly unearthed letter suggests Cohen, a man whose testimony figures to be central in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against Trump, has told authorities conflicting stories about the nature of $130,000 that was allegedly sent to adult film actress Stormy Daniels in 2016.
